The Not-So-Basic Utility Jacket
One of my closet staples is a utility jacket. They make for the perfect basic jacket to throw on and go. But the keyword there is basic. Almost every utility jacket out there is the same shade of green, has a drawstring waist, and is lightweight enough to layer throughout the fall and even spring.
The fact that most utility jackets are pretty basic isn't a bad thing. BUT this utility jacket takes basic to the next level. MM Vintage hit the nail on the head with this one. The embroidery and sequin detailing is unlike anything I have ever seen. The leather pockets are so edgy and the detachable hood trimmed in faux fur is the cherry on top. It is also a little heavier than most utility jackets which means you can probably get away with wearing it into early winter. The fit is roomy so you can definitely wear a sweater underneath (I'm wearing a size small).
I hope everyone is having a fab week so far! We're half way there and I know I can't wait for the weekend. Don't forget to like this post below if this is something you would wear :)
