Wedding Day Must Haves
After looking back on our wedding day, there are definitely a few things that I am so happy I had that day! Today, I’m sharing my wedding day must haves with you, that way you don’t forget anything on your wedding day! From a trustworthy deodorant to a pretty little ring box, I’m covering it all!
First is a cute tote bag. I feel like this is a trend right now, but it’s also super practical. It was great to fit my shoes, jewelry, rings, invitation, and any other detail items I needed for myself & my photographer and videographer. I got mine from The Little Market. They have a ton of totes with all different sayings. I thought ‘best day ever’ was a perfect fit for wedding day! I also got these for my bridal party. For my bridesmaids, I got the phrase ‘let’s party’ and for my flower girl I got the phrase ‘here for the cake.’ I also picked up two that said mom with heart for my mom and MIL. Everyone loved them and used them on the day of! They will also be able to use them in the future since the phrase isn’t particular to a wedding (like bride to be, MOH, bridesmaid, etc.)
Another cute little accessory that I’m glad I had with me is this ring box by The Mrs Box. I love the pink velvet and foil monogram. It is so pretty for detail photos and just to have to keep your ring safe! They come in a ton of colors and you can choose if you want silver, gold, or rose gold foil, as well as the font you want. It also would be a great gift (to give or receive).
Now let’s talk beauty must haves! I’m particular when it comes to lip colors. I know what I like and I knew for my wedding day, I wanted to look like me. I also wanted to be able to have it with me throughout the day and night so I could reapply as needed. The two shades I went with were French Nude by Glo Skin Beauty and Hue by MAC (which it looks like they don’t make anymore :( but this color looks similar). My advice would be, when you go for your makeup preview, bring some of your favorite colors with you, or ask your makeup artist what they used so you can buy it and have it for that day.
You will also need a deodorant that you can rely on to keep you dry and smelling fresh all day. This all natural one by Kopari saved the day for me! Between getting ready, taking photos, then the ceremony & reception, it’s safe to say it was a long day and I needed a deodorant I could trust. This one glides on so smooth and smells amazing. The best part is it’s aluminum free AND keeps you dry! Check out my full review in this blog post & get 25% off with code PineBarren25!
Another beauty product I consider a must on your wedding day is a brightening mask. I’ve been using this one by Farmacy for the past month or so and love that it gives instant results! You can use it the day before the wedding if you’re having a rehearsal dinner, or even the morning of the wedding to prep your skin to have it looking glowy! TIP: try it out a few times before hand; you don’t want to use a brand new product on your wedding day not knowing how your skin will react! If you’re interested in all of the skincare products I used leading up to the wedding, read this blog post.
As always, thank you for stopping by! Love you guys!
