FASHION TALK
This is my second day to night look that I've styled so far (click here to see the first). I immediately fell in love with this top when I tried it on. The lace detail is so pretty & I love the strappy back. For day time, I paired it with denim cutoffs and sandals for an easy look. I also love the mix of textures between the feminine lace and distressed denim. For night time, I paired it with my favorite pair of black skinnies & classic heels for a dressier feel.
Another way to transition a look from day to night is by switching up your accessories. In both looks I wore the same bracelet, but switched up my earrings and bag. A pretty pair of studs are perfect for day time & usually the type of earring I wear on the reg. For night time, swapping your studs for a pair of statement earrings is a sure way to, well, make a statement. As far as bags go, a bigger tote is my go to for day time and a smaller wristlet or cross body bag is what I gravitate to for a night out.
REAL TALK
First: I've been listening to Heatwave by Robin Schulz feat. Akon on repeat like crazy! It just makes me wanna grab Rob and dance lol.
Second: Speaking of Rob, he has an interview this morning so keep your fingers crossed for him! I know he will do great & continue to make me proud.
Third: Can you actually believe it's August alreadyyy?! I mean, where did summer go & why does it have to leave so soon? I can't believe there's only one more month of days at the beach, dinners on the water, and the feeling of pure bliss that comes along with the freedom of summer time. Raise your hand if you're with me.

Day to Night: White Hot
Hi everyone! Today I'm introducing a new type of post called "Day to Night" where I'll take one basic outfit and style it for day time as well as night time. Being able to style your favorite pieces multiple ways allows you to re-wear certain items while also feeling like they're brand new. This trick is also great for when you have to transition from work to a dinner party or night out.
For my first post in this series, I wanted to keep it simple. I chose to style an all white outfit with neutral accessories by pairing it with a chambray shirt for day time and an off white leather jacket for night time. This is such an easy switch to make and it changes the entire look! I'm loving all white for summer time and there's SO many ways you can style it! Adding a chambray boyfriend shirt gives it a casual feel, whereas adding a moto jacket gives it a sexy feel. You can also switch out your shoes, bag, and jewelry depending on how you're feeling!
